The National Center for Water Quality Research has been collecting and testing surface water samples from streams and lakes since 1969. While most of the samples we analyze are generated by our own research programs and some of the results are available for download, we also provide analytical support for other researchers and individuals.  For our Heidelberg Tributary Loading Program, over 140,000 samples collected from rivers and streams that drain more than 50% of the land area of Ohio have been analyzed in our laboratory for sediments, nutrients, pesticides, and metals.
